Physics is one of the pillars upon which the Faculty of Science was founded, as it is one of the basic building blocks that has a clear imprint on other sciences. Therefore, this science has an effective impact on technology, which leaves no doubt that any scientific progress in any field depends primarily on physics as a science from which the rest of the sciences are derived.
Description
The duration of study in the department is eight (8) semesters, containing 52 courses and amounting to one hundred and thirty-one (137) study units, at a rate of 180 study hours, during which the student is awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Physics.
Vision
The Physics Department aspires to prepare and qualify specialized personnel in the field of physics and to contribute to the development of scientific research in a distinguished manner.
Mission
Since its establishment, the Physics Department has sought to prepare scientifically and professionally specialized personnel in the field of physics through distinguished educational programs that conform to quality standards and benefit the labor market and its requirements.
